My aussie is 7 now, but I remember carrying his snuggly little self out to the yard at 2 am when he was tiny. It's a good thing they are cute!
Today I went shopping for my husband's stocking stuffers. The main rule at our house is that stocking staffers should be ridiculous. I went to Khol's - which made me feel like the stores used to when I was a kid - because they have all these racks of goofy things. I didn't buy it, but I did see a "potty piano", which apparently you play with your feet while doing your business. It comes with a songbook! 🤣
Lol. I would have, but we have a very strict budget and I couldn't fit it in. If there are any left after Christmas I am snagging on for Valentine's Day! 🤣
Amber! You are equally as funny as Seth...if not more! I have been listening to Tsh Oxenreider and his older podcast posts. Also, to Coming Home podcast where he shared his journey from Baptist and yours from Episcopal ministry to Catholism. Also about that super scary time in your son's infancy. You are two of the most interesting writers I have never met! Keep sharing please.
Piping in here to say I love your writing (have since I discovered you ✨❤️) I've loved catching glimpses of your journey over the years. But this humor on this day?? Golden Solstice medicine!! 🎉✨Thank you!!
the last 2 weeks of our 14 yr old St. Bernards life she couldn't walk so my husband carried her each time she had to go out. sometimes they left a trail thru the house. I realized we are at the heavy lifting, pee and poo cleaning, love stage and was encouraged to know we'll weather it when it's for each other as we weathered it for our sweet Lady-lou. (we did it in the puppy/baby stage, but this side is different somehow)
Just last year I was doing middle of the night potty detail with our new Aussie pup. Then I slept through Advent and Christmas occasionally waking to watch’s sappy Christmas movie. It took six months for Omalola to get housebroken! We abstained from having a Christmas tree too! She likes climbing on tables!
Thanks for this report on your life in Goshen. Will try to get over to Amazon and review your book. I really enjoyed it. Merry Christmas.
Oh geeze. Peter! Yikes!

You should have bought the potty piano!
